Prince William Dance Academy Invites Local Kids to Annual Boo Bash and Snow Ball in Nokesville
Celebrating its 25th season in Nokesville, Prince William Dance Academy is opening its doors to children across the community for two annual traditions filled with dancing, games, crafts and seasonal fun.
NOKESVILLE, VA (October 13, 2026) - Two favorite Prince William Dance Academy traditions are returning to Nokesville this fall, and you do not have to be a PWDA dancer to join the fun.
PWDA’s annual Boo Bash Dance Party returns Friday, October 30, followed by the Snow Ball Dance Party on Saturday, November 21.
Both events are open to children ages 4–10 from throughout the community and are $25 per child.
For Prince William Dance Academy, these events have become about much more than what happens on the dance floor.
They are part of a larger tradition of bringing local kids together, welcoming new families through the studio doors and creating the kind of childhood memories that small-town communities do especially well.
And during PWDA’s 25th season in Nokesville, that feels particularly meaningful.

Annual Kids Events Nokesville Families Look Forward To
For many PWDA families, Boo Bash and Snow Ball are already marked on the calendar each year.
Kids come ready to dance, make something, play games, laugh with friends and celebrate the season together.
Some are PWDA dancers.
Some come with a friend.
Others are walking into the studio for the very first time.
All are welcome.
“Some of our favorite PWDA memories happen outside of regular dance class,” says PWDA founder Kim Teachout Thomas. “Boo Bash and Snow Ball give kids a chance to just come together and have fun. We love seeing our dancers bring friends, meeting new families from the community and watching children come back year after year because they have been looking forward to it.”
That sense of connection has been part of PWDA since Ms. Kim founded the studio in Nokesville in 2002.
Now celebrating its 25th season, PWDA has welcomed generations of families from Nokesville, Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas and communities throughout Prince William County.
For some families, that relationship begins with a dance class.
For others, it starts at an event like Boo Bash.
Boo Bash Dance Party Returns October 30
Costumes, dancing and just enough Halloween silliness are coming back to Fitzwater Drive.
The annual Boo Bash Dance Party will be held:
Friday, October 30, 2026
6:00–8:30 PM
Ages 4–10
$25 per child
Kids are encouraged to wear a dance-friendly Halloween costume and come ready for an evening of dancing, games, crafts and Halloween fun.
Boo Bash has become a fall tradition children look forward to each year, with plenty to do whether a child already loves to dance or simply wants a fun Halloween event with other kids.
For families searching for a Halloween event for kids in Nokesville, VA, Boo Bash offers a local option designed specifically for elementary-age children.
Kick Off the Holidays at the Snow Ball Dance Party
A few weeks later, PWDA trades Halloween costumes for holiday sparkle.
The annual Snow Ball Dance Party returns:
Saturday, November 21, 2026
11:00 AM–1:30 PM
Ages 4–10
$25 per child
Kids will spend the afternoon enjoying dancing, games, crafts and festive activities as PWDA kicks off the holiday season together.
Like Boo Bash, Snow Ball is open to children throughout the community, not only currently enrolled dancers.
It has become one of those events PWDA kids know is coming and start looking forward to long before the doors open.
