Our current dance classes begin at age 3.5, with beginner-friendly options including Pre-Ballet and Half Pint Hip Hop.
What types of dance classes does PWDA offer?
PWDA offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and acro classes for children and teens at our dance studio in Nokesville, VA.
Can my child try a dance class before enrolling?
Yes. Most current PWDA classes offer a free trial so your dancer can meet their teacher, experience the class, and see if PWDA feels like the right fit.
Does my child need dance experience?
Not at all. We welcome brand-new dancers as well as students who are ready to continue building their technique and performance skills.
Are boys welcome at PWDA?
Absolutely. If they love to dance, there is a place for them here.
Will my dancer have opportunities to perform?
Yes. Performance is an important part of the PWDA experience. Dancers have opportunities to take the stage throughout the season, including our end-of-season show. PWDA Company also offers competition opportunities for invited dancers.
